Heavenly Cake Pops

Homemade Cake Pops

Heavenly Cake Pops

I have been super crazy busy getting ready for my NEW Launch! I can hardly wait to show you what I've been working on... My NEW online boutique is coming together beautifully. I haven't been able to post as much as I'd like, but I promise you once I Launch... I'll be back in full force! In the meantime, I LOVE Valentines Day and I couldn't let it go by without making something special for my family. Cake Pops are trendy and super popular for any event especially Valentines Day! Ok... I've never made these before and thought they would be super easy. To make my job easier, I decided to try Heavenly Cake Pops roller machine. Oh man- The coolest roller ever! Checkout their video HERE. I'm still learning but to make the inside {cake} the cake to frosting ratio is very important to master. Slowly, add the frosting one tablespoon at a time. Until the mix is like play dough texture. Then, use the Heavenly Cake Pops machine and instantly you have perfect shaped cake balls! Seriously, LOVE! Like I said I'm still learning... Then after your cakes are rolled, chill then, you start frosting. My frosting technique definitely need some work. I've learned now, that I need to "thin" out the Wilton's Candy Melts. Next time I'm using EZ Thin- This will make my frosting smooth... I had such a FUN time making these, Evan even helped me. I'm super excited to try them again, using some new technique I've learned and of course using my handy Heavenly Cake Pops machine. Hope you have a relaxing and wonderful Valentines. Hugs and kisses to ALL.

Super Bowl Party

Party Ideas (photo via pinterest)

My Family loves Football and I love Parties! Guess what is this weekend? Get ready friends... this weekend is Super Bowl Sunday. Besides ALL the yummy BBQ food, Sandwiches or Pizza. I love having sweet + salty treats. Somewhere in your decorations you have to include the Broncos & Panthers team colors. How FUN is it to use M&M's to create this look with Popcorn and Pretzel bites! Another staple on your table is chips and guacamole...How creative the guacamole looks like the turf, then you add a bean dip football with sour cream laces! Football sugar cookies are a must. Cute idea for the football tumblers, add white washi tape on your tumbler to give it the football effect, super adorable for all ages. (same idea for popcorn cups)  Lastly, aren't these Nutter Butter referees the cutest ever? Wilton makes the googley eyes, you can get them at Michael's Craft store and dip one end into white melted chocolate then stripe their shirt with black frosting. Don't feel like you have to do ALL these ideas, just add one to your party and you will feel super creative... Have FUN- Enjoy your weekend! See you right back here on Monday. {Hugs}

Isn't this the most adorable Halloween Tee? I just love it! My friend over at TomKat Studio sells this sweet "boo" TEE in her store. She also sells a cute "boo" PILLOW as well as a practical "boo" TOTE for trick or treating. I think this is perfect for Mama's trying to celebrate the Holiday. I'm not exactly sure what I'm wearing with mine, but I can assure you it will have Orange, White and Black with it. Hope you have a FUN week preparing for your upcoming Halloween Celebration!

Halloween Sign | other style HERE

Happy Fall Y'all... My front porch is FINISHED! The only thing left to add are pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. I'll be out of town on October first- but as soon as I'm home, it's straight to the pumpkin patch with my kids. I can hardly wait. We have been going to the same pumpkin patch for a few years now and the kids just love it! I love my chrysanthemums (mums) I found mine at Rite Aid of all places. They were big and had the best shade of colors. I'm excited about how everything turned out... the pillows, the sunflowers, the Halloween signs. I hope sharing my front porch gives you inspiration to dress up yours for the Fall. Whoo-Hoo It's Friday... Celebrate!

Inspired Piece

I am thrilled to share with you my latest DIY Project... This amazing Gold Etagere... I have been dying to order one of the Inspired pieces but they where too pricey for what I wanted to use it for? So I stumbled across this Ikea version and came up with a plan to spray it Gold. Eeeek! My sweet Husband ran to Ikea for me and picked it up. When he brought it home and I had already buzzed to Home Depot and picked up this Rust-Oleum Gold paint. I used three (3) cans. I then found this fun Marquee Sign at Michaels Craft Store (now on sale!) When I bought mine it wasn't on sale but I was super excited because I remembered to use a 40% off coupon. Whoo-hoo! I also sprayed the Marquee Sign and placed it on my cute shelf. I thought this was the cutest way to display my Handbags. I couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out. Who knew?... Hope you have as fun with your next crafting project... Happy Tuesday!

Valentine DIY

I miss making Valentines with my kids... When they were younger, we sat around the kitchen and crafted Valentine treats for their classmates. They hand wrote on each and every Valentine card. It took us days to finish. They always added a sweet treat with their cards. This year, I made a few sweet treats of my own. I started with these gift boxes, one I just added a sticker to. Then, the other Box I used material tape (from the craft store) to add cute detail to the box. Finished it off with a beautiful ribbon. The last gift idea I used this glass jar I got from IKEA. Filled it with candies and topping it off with a bow. These craft ideas are super easy and super fun to receive. Don't forget about your Valentine. Have fun crafting and have a wonderful weekend!

This last weekend my Husband and I hosted our "Cousins Christmas!" All my Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, my Brother's Family, my Mom and Dad from my Dad's side of the Family came over to celebrate the Holiday. My Mom helped me set up and cook for everyone. "Thank you Mommy!" I think I would still be getting ready if it wasn't for her help. We set and designed six (6) different table settings. I am obsessed with table settings and design. I have been looking forward to this since last year. My Family alternates between houses each year. This year landed at our home. It gives me such joy to have everyone at our home. I love entertaining but I think it's the very BEST when it's Family! Have yourself a very Merry Christmas... Enjoy the special Day with your Family.
