The end of August, Ellie and I took another girls trip to Vancouver B.C. Completely a last minute trip... My friend, owner of Sweet Bake Shop- closed her store. She had it open for one year- her success was overwhelming wonderful- But, running a bakery day to day wasn't what she wanted to do for the moment. She is writing a book, baking and traveling. Make + Take Floral Crowns

{Kim} TomKat Studio | {Amber} Inspired Retreat

{Jennifer} The Sugar Monkey

{Kim} Lucy Jane Totes

I had a blast making these adorable Floral Crowns! This would be something super FUN to do as a Family... maybe after Thanksgiving dinner- All you need is floral wire, floral tape, variety of your favorite flowers and greens. Measure your head with the floral wire and attach the wire at the exact spot where the measurement ends... Start by weaving greens around the wire to make a FULL leaved crown, attach your favorite flowers to add character. It's as easy as Pumkin Pie! I hope you are enjoying preparing for your Thanksgiving Dinner!

Valentine DIY

I miss making Valentines with my kids... When they were younger, we sat around the kitchen and crafted Valentine treats for their classmates. They hand wrote on each and every Valentine card. It took us days to finish. They always added a sweet treat with their cards. This year, I made a few sweet treats of my own. I started with these gift boxes, one I just added a sticker to. Then, the other Box I used material tape (from the craft store) to add cute detail to the box. Finished it off with a beautiful ribbon. The last gift idea I used this glass jar I got from IKEA. Filled it with candies and topping it off with a bow. These craft ideas are super easy and super fun to receive. Don't forget about your Valentine. Have fun crafting and have a wonderful weekend!
