This last weekend my Husband and I hosted our "Cousins Christmas!" All my Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, my Brother's Family, my Mom and Dad from my Dad's side of the Family came over to celebrate the Holiday. My Mom helped me set up and cook for everyone. "Thank you Mommy!" I think I would still be getting ready if it wasn't for her help. We set and designed six (6) different table settings. I am obsessed with table settings and design. I have been looking forward to this since last year. My Family alternates between houses each year. This year landed at our home. It gives me such joy to have everyone at our home. I love entertaining but I think it's the very BEST when it's Family! Have yourself a very Merry Christmas... Enjoy the special Day with your Family.

  My Husband and I love to going Christmas shopping together. Jason takes half a day off work and we go Downtown and shop for family while enjoying all the festivities of the Holiday. The lights and stores are magical this time of year. I'm always checking out how each store decorates and styled their displays. Jason on the other hand always buys for himself. He doesn't go shopping much, but always enjoys going and when he finds great items he wants to buy them. Everything above was either purchased already or it was something he liked and will be under the tree. :) SHHHH! Don't tell... We always finish our shopping trips with a nice dinner on the town. It's like shopping turned into date night. I love it- Enjoy your last minute shopping... Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thanksgiving is my very favorite Holiday! I love the idea our Family gathering and enjoying wonderful food. With any Holiday, I am so excited to decorate the tables. This is something I grew up knowing... My Mom, as well as my Aunts are amazing entertainers- I remember as a child being amazed by their tablescapes- I still am... When I entertain I always think about them. I love the way their homes made me feel when I was there and I always want my guests to feel that same way! Something said about traditions... Meet the Designer

On Saturday, I was lucky enough to meet Patricia Nash from Patricia Nash Design... this fabulous handbag designer is from Knoxville, Tennessee. My friend, Maria is a merchandise designer for Macy's and she designed and displayed all of the Portland stores. Maria invited me to come hang out and meet Patricia because she was coming into town to check out the new stores displays. (Which look amazing!) Super Fun! Thank you ladies...
