Bedroom Design

 Quotes similiar HERE

Stenciled Wall | Chair | Desk | Pillow

PB Teen similar Lamp | Lamp shade | Letter "E"

Dresser | Perfume Tray

Head Board | Gold Pillows

Finally, after a long process... Ellie and I finished her room! Ellie wanted a WHITE & GOLD room. This is what we came up with- I painted one of her walls solid Gold. Then, I stenciled another of her walls with a Moroccan pattern. Can I tell you... this is what was time consuming. (ugh!) But so worth it. I think this wall took me over ten hours to paint- Then, we started to pull all the accessories together. Finding White & Gold where ever we went. Ellie also got a new desk and dresser to give her more space to store her treasures. I found her all white bedding at Target. She has a touch of chocolate brown in her headboard, lamp shades & large pillows which I love. Ellie really loves to redecorate and come up with design challenges. She is very good at knowing exactly what she wants and likes! I have to say... Job well done! What's next? You'll have to wait and see... Happy Monday Friends!

Kentucky Derby Mint Julep

Eeeeek! This weekend is one of my favorite weekends out of the whole year. Kentucky Derby Weekend! My fondest childhood memories were at my barn, riding and showing horses. Once a horse lover, always a horse lover... The Kentucky Derby is the Super Bowl of Horse Racing. My Husband is so sweet he has said he always wanted to take me. Sadly, we've never gone. Maybe next year... To me it's Classy meets Country! My heart swells thinking about it. But if I can't be there in person, the best next thing is watching it at home with a Mint Julep in hand. I've got my bar cart ready for this weekend. I thought it was super cute adding the Junior Mints to the decor! Have FUN enjoying your Kentucky Derby weekend! Drink responsibly... Love!

Pillow Obsessed

As of lately, I've become more and more pillow obsessed... I love pillows! These are a few of my newest. A few weeks ago I redesigned Ellie's bedroom- I add a bunch of new accessories as well as these adorable chairs from Pier One. The cute end table I found at Target. I styled the chairs with these cute pillows from Home Goods. I got Ellie all new bedding and just fell in love with this "let's snuggle" pillow from Tiny Prints, Home Collection. I know crazy! Huh? Tiny Prints now has a Home Collection... I absolutely love. In my Bedroom I added this cute Acme Feed & Seed pillow from Nashville. As well as this "A loves J" pillow again Tiny Prints, Home Collection. Eeeek! I get so excited just looking at it. This Girl is one happy Mama. If you are wanting to change a few things up for Spring... Adding accent pillows are a great way to start. Enjoy making your house a home!

This last weekend my Husband and I hosted our "Cousins Christmas!" All my Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, my Brother's Family, my Mom and Dad from my Dad's side of the Family came over to celebrate the Holiday. My Mom helped me set up and cook for everyone. "Thank you Mommy!" I think I would still be getting ready if it wasn't for her help. We set and designed six (6) different table settings. I am obsessed with table settings and design. I have been looking forward to this since last year. My Family alternates between houses each year. This year landed at our home. It gives me such joy to have everyone at our home. I love entertaining but I think it's the very BEST when it's Family! Have yourself a very Merry Christmas... Enjoy the special Day with your Family.

Front Porch Decorations

This year my front porch has a Natural Theme... I love the smell of fresh Pine & Rosemary. I included my children's red Radio Flyer Wagon in to the decorations and I just love it! I filled the wagon with Christmas presents wrapped in fun festive wrapping paper, cinnamon fragranced pine cones and last but not least, this adorable twig reindeer sitting on the front of the wagon. I bought a fresh Christmas tree and placed it on a crate behind the wagon. I added this beautiful pine cone star to the top. I'm a little obsessed with the burlap ribbon (adorable!) So, I added it everywhere... The wreath was purchased from one of Ellie's friend who was selling these for a school fundraiser. I love how the burlap ribbon matches the paint color of the house. (Nice planning on my part) :) I added a yummy smelling Rosemary bush into an iron plant stand as well as a fresh swag placed in a wire basket I got from a friend- I kept everything simple but festive. I loved the way my Front Porch is decorated this year so, I wanted to share with you. If I was my UPS Driver, I'd be happy to drop packages off at my front door.  Heehee... Happy Monday!

Christmas Decorating

Yesterday, I finished Christmas decorating. I love preparing ahead of time. With Thanksgiving late this year, I really tried to get organized in November. It paid off, I'm done decorating and can now enjoy my home and the Holiday season less stressed. December is super busy with Holiday parties and extra fun events we do as a family. So it's important to me to be present and focused and not worrying about decorating. I'm also ready incase we decided to have friends/family stop by for some Holiday cheer. I love looking at Christmas lights, eating out and treating the kids to Hot Chocolate! Enjoy your December, decorate NOW, if you haven't already... Embrace the season!

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thanksgiving is my very favorite Holiday! I love the idea our Family gathering and enjoying wonderful food. With any Holiday, I am so excited to decorate the tables. This is something I grew up knowing... My Mom, as well as my Aunts are amazing entertainers- I remember as a child being amazed by their tablescapes- I still am... When I entertain I always think about them. I love the way their homes made me feel when I was there and I always want my guests to feel that same way! Something said about traditions... Above are a few of my favorites this year. This year, make your tablescape the best it's ever been. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
