But, I've got to get some shopping done for Spring Break, we are heading to Arizona the end of the month for Evan's Baseball! Ok, I've been super busy on the computer entering all my amazing products for my online boutique. However, never too busy to miss one of my favorite nights EVER! The Oscars... Last night I watched, and wasn't disappointed! I'm obsessed with the fashion and I just LOVE the Red Carpet before the awards. My "BEST DRESSED" award goes to... Alicia Vikander- I loved her billowing bubbled hemmed Yellow dress... Gorgeous! I want to wear this in my Kitchen. Congrats Alicia on the WIN for Best Supporting Actress! I was also rooting for Leo in Best Actor! YEAH.... Oscar for you... and an Oscar for you!

Launch Party Photoshoot

This last week has been SUPER crazy!! I had my Launch Party Photoshoot, I took over @creativechics Instagram account (go check it out) I shared some photos... I have been tirelessly entering my products on my NEW Shop site. Eeeeek! Launch date is set for one week from now... March 5th! I can't even wait to share with you. Thank you for being so patience with me as I take this new journey in my life. I'm over the moon excited!

I am ready for Spring! The flowers in Oregon are starting to bud... I am currently obsessed with the color Tangerine. These Tory Burch Sandals are a must-have for Spring... My Karen Walker Sunglasses in Tortoise shell are perfect with any color. Last year, I lived in my cut-off Boyfriend Jean shorts and I'm super excited to start wearing them again soon. I hope you are just as excited as I am for Spring? I have also been eyeing Spring Blooms for the front porch, maybe I'll get to plant some this weekend? Happy Tuesday!

Saturday, I helped decorate for the Clackamas High School Baseball Auction. This year, the decorating committee decided on a Vintage Baseball Theme.  We had such a great time getting ready for this amazing event! I made 300 chocolate dipped baseball Oreos for all the guests and individually wrapped them with adorable "Thank You" tags on each. (check out my Instagram for the picture) This was our fifth (5) year for the CAVS Baseball Auction. Every year is a bit different but every year gets better and better. The Board, Committees + Parents are what make this wonderful Event come to a reality. Jason and I enjoy going to the Auction and always come home with amazing treasures... Baseball tryouts are next week- I can't even wait for the Season to begin. We are heading to Arizona for Spring Break where Evan will be playing Baseball with his team as well as catching a few Spring Training games. Super excited!! Now that this years Auction is behind us... I'd better get planning for next year!

Once again... I had a BLAST at my Valentine's Day Ladies Luncheon, last week. You aren't even going to believe me when I say that I made this sign! The cutest EVER! You can see in the flower picture the natural color wood board, well thats what I started with... stained the whole board with a chocolate stain, I then used these cricut cutout letters + heart. Placed them on my board, mod podged over the top of the letters, then I painted over the whole board with cream paint... waited for it to dry, peeled off the stickers with a sharp knife. Sanded the white to rough it up and "tada" a sweet sign.

I am so happy I was able to attend Jenny's Valentine's Day Lunch in Seattle, on Friday... {Bucket List} CHECK! I have followed Jenny on Instagram/Blog for over 2 years now. I think she is incredibly talented and adore her lovely cookbook. She is a pioneer of dessert tables... Her cookbook is called Eat More Dessert. Jenny has started hosting some FUN events in her home town. In November, she hosted a cookie decorating event. I wasn't able to go then but knew that I would really try to make her next event. It happened to be this Valentines Lunch! I had such a great time and met the most amazing women. Thank you Jenny for such a memorable day. I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

I have been super crazy busy getting ready for my NEW Launch! I can hardly wait to show you what I've been working on... My NEW online boutique is coming together beautifully. I haven't been able to post as much as I'd like, but I promise you once I Launch... I'll be back in full force! In the meantime, I LOVE Valentines Day and I couldn't let it go by without making something special for my family. Cake Pops are trendy and super popular for any event especially Valentines Day! Ok... I've never made these before and thought they would be super easy. To make my job easier, I decided to try Heavenly Cake Pops roller machine. Oh man- The coolest roller ever! Checkout their video HERE. I'm still learning but to make the inside {cake} the cake to frosting ratio is very important to master. Slowly, add the frosting one tablespoon at a time. Until the mix is like play dough texture. Then, use the Heavenly Cake Pops machine and instantly you have perfect shaped cake balls! Seriously, LOVE! Like I said I'm still learning... Then after your cakes are rolled, chill then, you start frosting. My frosting technique definitely need some work. I've learned now, that I need to "thin" out the Wilton's Candy Melts. Next time I'm using EZ Thin- This will make my frosting smooth... I had such a FUN time making these, Evan even helped me. I'm super excited to try them again, using some new technique I've learned and of course using my handy Heavenly Cake Pops machine. Hope you have a relaxing and wonderful Valentines. While I was at the Chicago airport waiting for a connecting flight, I stumbled upon the most amazing flavored POPCORN! Garrett Popcorn is a Chicago tradition. As I was walking to my gate, I saw the longest line. I walked up to the end of the line and asked the person in front of me, "is this line all for the POPCORN?" He replied "Yes, it's the best POPCORN around!" He also told me he purposely books his connecting flights through Chicago just so he can get a tin of popcorn to take home... Of course- I stood in line. I had to try what he thought was the "best" around. Once, I got up to the front of the line I saw all of the flavors and I couldn't decide. Check out their flavors HERE. I asked what was their most popular flavor and the sells clerk told me the Garrett's Mix. This mix combines the sweet CaramelCrisp with the savory CheeseCorn. Seriously, it was the BEST ever! I'm not the only one who loves this popcorn, obviously... Garrett's has opened stores now throughout major cities, see which one is closest to you HERE. Next, I want to try the chocolate spicy CheeseCorn! Thank Heavens I don't live close to a store... Heehee! I love the joy popcorn brings, it's FUN and makes me happy. It reminds me of my Children's Elementary School Days. I was the Popcorn Chair for all of Happy Valley's School events. I've POPPED my fair share of popcorn and I can't even believe I'm omitting that I miss it. Next time you are at the Chicago Airport, you MUST try! My Family loves Football and I love Parties! Guess what is this weekend? Get ready friends... this weekend is Super Bowl Sunday. Besides ALL the yummy BBQ food, Sandwiches or Pizza. I love having sweet + salty treats. Somewhere in your decorations you have to include the Broncos & Panthers team colors. How FUN is it to use M&M's to create this look with Popcorn and Pretzel bites! Another staple on your table is chips and guacamole...How creative the guacamole looks like the turf, then you add a bean dip football with sour cream laces! Football sugar cookies are a must. Cute idea for the football tumblers, add white washi tape on your tumbler to give it the football effect, super adorable for all ages. (same idea for popcorn cups)  Lastly, aren't these Nutter Butter referees the cutest ever? Wilton makes the googley eyes, you can get them at Michael's Craft store and dip one end into white melted chocolate then stripe their shirt with black frosting.
