Courtney at Pizzazzerie really knows how to throw a PARTY! I love her 4th of July tablescape... Courtney crafted together an adorable picket fence flower box that runs straight down the center of the table. She added greens and mini American Flags. If you didn't have enough room on your dining table, you could also craft this arrangement for your food table. I found these adorable pieces to add to my table from Pier One. Find your own style- mix & match your favorite pieces, patterns and designs. Tomorrow on the Blog... I'll be bringing you more cute ideas for a July 4th backyard BBQ. Getting ready and decorating for this day is half the FUN! The second half is enjoying with friends and family!

Tacoma Experience

We had such a FUN weekend! Friday afternoon Evan had a double header, won one game and lost the second. Bummer... Saturday, we went to the River all day and road our new SeaDoos! (Jason surprised the kids a couple weeks ago) The weather in Portland has been in the triple digits. On Sunday, we went up to Tacoma, Washington to watch a Tacoma Rainiers Baseball game. Jason purchased this amazing Baseball experience through our Clackamas Baseball Auction. We were able to bring twenty (20) friends to the luxury suite, VIP parking, and an on field/dugout time. Evan brought a bunch of his Baseball friends and Ellie brought a few of her girlfriends. We were also super excited when Grandpa Johnston decided to take us up on the offer to join all of us. Grandpa loves Evan's Friends... He is their number one fan when it comes to Baseball. The Tacoma game was super uneventful 0-0 all game. Until the end of the ninth (9th) inning. Patrick Kivlehan a Tacoma player hit a two run "Home Run!" (Yeah) A huge- "Thank you" to Patti our adorable REP who treated us like royalty. We had such a great day, it couldn't have been better... I love creating awesome memories with great people. Happy Monday!

Hillsboro Hops

Last night, we had so much FUN! Attending our very First Hillsboro Hops Baseball game! We took Jason's "summer car" our Jeep Rubicon out for a trip across town. :) The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The Hops played another Oregon Minor league team The Salem/Keizer Volcanoes. Hillsboro Hops beat the Volcanes 4-1. This was a relaxing Family summer event, to did together. I can't believe how fast these little kids of mine are growing up. Evan has a double-header today 3pm and 5pm... (Good Luck Evan!) I'm filling up the coolers with ice and lots of waters. It's gonna be a HOT one... TGIF- Enjoy your Friday!

I love Summertime! I love the kids being home and the craziness of which way they are headed. I love planning dinners and the Family forgetting to tell me, that they have plans. (kidding) As much as I like my Family, days like these make me love sitting poolside even better! Having cute Summer Pool Essentials are a MUST. Above are my current favorites! I got the kids these adorable Donut Floats for the pool! I got Ellie Strawberry and Evan Chocolate- We ended up going to the River the other Day and took them with us. This was a lifesaver! The weather in Oregon has been SUPER warm. We are loving every minute. This week/weekend the temperature will hit the triple digits! Eeeeeeek!! Sunscreen... Urban Fondue

This last Saturday was Evan's Birthday! We had such a FUN evening... Evan had a Baseball Tournament all weekend, so making plans for dinner was kinda difficult. Once we knew his game times on Saturday I was able to make reservations. Evan chose this yummy Fondue place in NW Portland. Jason and I have been there before with friends but thought it would be something the kids would like as well. Our reservations were at 9pm (ugh!) We went downtown around 7pm and walked around NW Portland. Took some cute photos... Not so much on my phone but the kids have cute ones on their phones. Evan is always messing with me when I'm wanting to take a picture of him. He was much better when he was younger. Doesn't STOP me from posting them... Heehee! In the first photo he was closing his eyes on purpose and in the second photo he was acting. Crazy NUT! The kids couldn't sit with me at the outside tables because it was considered the BAR. So Jason and I had a drink while the kids stood on the curb. (too funny, of course they were on their phones) Once our table was ready we went inside and had a three (3) course meal... Cheese Fondue, Seafood & Meats and last but not least the Chocolate Dessert Fondue. Our dinner was 2 1/2 hours long. We had such a great time celebrating Evan and this dinner experience couldn't have been a better fit for him. Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!
