These are a few pieces I'm in love with!  I'm thinking I need the pants from Nordstrom. I just looked and they are on SALE! Yeah... Also, loving the drop waist dress from Old Navy. This would be super cute with tights, black booties and a cardigan or vest. Next time your shopping look for you favorite piece of Buffalo Plaid. I know I will...

Homecoming

Saturday night was Homecoming for Ellie and Evan. They both had a blast! Ellie had a group of Sophomore friends over to our house for a preparty as well as an afterparty. Evan had a friend who hosted a preparty and then another friend had the afterparty for the Freshman class. I so enjoy hosting my kids friends... They are always super kind and respectful! The Sophomores decided to dress casual "Blackout" and the Freshmans didn't know differently so they dressed up. (which I loved)  My heart is happy when my kids make wonderful memories! Let just say The Johnston Family was really tired on Sunday. It's Monday and I'm back at work!! Hope everyone has a great week. 

Wonderful Mother

Our hearts are heavy... Today we held the Memorial Service for Jason's Mom.

God made a wonderful Mother,

This is the Amber Housley Farewell dinner party for Inspired 2014. Just beautiful. Thank you to ALL the fabulous speakers who made this conference such a delight! You put your heart and sole into each and every breakout sessions. I can hardly wait to implement what I've learned. I thank y'all from the bottom of my heart! Happy Wednesday. 

Hey Gorgeous Party

I was super lucky to be a guest at this "Hey Gorgeous Events" Inspired Dinner. Thank you Rhiannon Nicole Bosse for such an amazing time! Your flower arrangements and tablescape were breath taking!  Toasting with my sweet roommate Carmen owner of The Flair Exchange. I really enjoyed my time at Evins Mill and am honored to call these ladies my "Friends".

Welcome Party

This was my first night at the Amber Housley Inspired conference. AMAZING is an under statement! This party was hosted by Kim at The Tomkat Studio. Attention to detail was spot ON! I had so much Fun!! These adorable white canvas bag with a large black heart was on every chair in the party room filled with fabulous treats. Thank you The Tomkat Studio, Cricut, Nancy Ray Photography and Lette Macarons.

Inspired

I made it to Amber Housley Inspired 2014! Evins Mill is just outside Nashville in a small town called Smithville. This super quaint lodge is sweet and rustic. My roommate and I shared one of these cabins. I'm obsessed with these adorable rocking chairs. The first time I saw these old-fashion rockers was at the Nashville Airport. So glad to be here and ready have FUN with my NEW friends. Have a nice day! 

Nashville

I'm in my happy place- Nashville! Oh my goodness, I loved exploring this adorable town. I walked up and down Broadway, I took a photo of this adorable train station. I just loved the sweetness of this brick structure. On Sunday, the Titans played at LP Stadium. (Lost to Cowboys) Ugh! I couldn't believe all the people in town for the game... Wow! Last but not least I explored the Vanderbilt Campus. This weekend was so fun it was Vanderbilts parents weekend so the campus was extra full of life. I can't even believe I'm in Nashville! Yeah me!!! 

Acme Feed and Seed

I LOVE Nashville! The first night I was so excited to see the town... I went down to Broadway Street. I went to the newest Local Bar called Acme Feed and Seed! It's a 22,000 square foot 3 story building... I had the best time ever! This restaurant/bar is super rustic with an awesome country vibe! They have a rooftop patio with the most beautiful view of the Cumberland River. I had a wonderful night. Thanks Nashville for being so kind to me.

I love their adorable/playful handbags paired with their patterns and designs. I'm super excited for Spring 2015. Meet the Designer

On Saturday, I was lucky enough to meet Patricia Nash from Patricia Nash Design... this fabulous handbag designer is from Knoxville, Tennessee. My friend, Maria is a merchandise designer for Macy's and she designed and displayed all of the Portland stores. Maria invited me to come hang out and meet Patricia because she was coming into town to check out the new stores displays. (Which look amazing!) Super Fun! Thank you ladies...
