Disneyland

Last weeks recap in Disneyland... Jason and I took the kids to Disneyland the beginning of last week! We thought we'd take one more vacation before school starts. This was one of the best vacations EVER... Jason and I kept wanting to cry because the kids are getting so grown up. I think we went on every SCARY and FAST ride there was- the kids were so excited to go from one to another. We ate a few things which we had never eaten at Disney before but, were recommended- one was the "Little Red Wagon" Corndog and the other was the "Dole" Whip Pineapple ice cream. Can I just say "yummy!' We love staying at the Grand Californian Hotel and always ask for the Downtown Disney District view. This year we really lucked out because right out our balcony was the best view of the Disneyland Fireworks! Tomorrow, I'll share our pictures of California Adventure... Thanks for reading!

Tinkerbell Half Marathon

We DID IT! Ellie and I feel so accomplished. I am so proud of Ellie for finishing her first Half Marathon. We woke up at 3:30am, got ready and made our way to the start of the race. We raced through California Adventure and through Disneyland. We of course had to stop and take a few photos along the way! I had one of the BEST Mother's Day Ever.

Wonderful memories with my sweet girl. I'm so excited for the relaxing weekend ahead...  Ellie is going to her first Prom on Saturday. (Yeah!) Photos to follow next week. Happy Thursday

Race Prep

Big Day! This day we were prepping for "Race Day." Ellie and I went to the Expo Center to get our bibs for the race, we shopped the Expo where they had everything RUNNING you could imagine. New Balance had a special "Tinkerbell" running shoe that you can only purchase on site. Tu-tu's to fancy headbands. More runners run in costume than not... It was super fun to see what creations everyone came up with. Stay tuned for tomorrow photos of the Tinkerbell Half Marathon! Eeeeekkk! Happy Wednesday... 

Disneyland Day 2

This was our second (2) day in Disneyland. We had a wonderful day relaxing and riding more rides! Ellie was getting totally bugged by me taking her photo. She said... "NO more!" Then, in Ellie fashion she started posing for the next photo. I love her! We shopped in Downtown Disney District. I was totally obsessed with these adorable Minnie Mouse Caramel Apples from Marceline's Confectionery. Aren't they the sweetest things ever? The Minnie ears are Marshmellows :) They also made Frozen Olaf's as well as Cinderella's Carriage. You have to go to this adorable candy store if you are at Disneyland. Ellie and I had a wonderful dinner at Naples in Downtown Disney, it was a beautiful evening so we sat upstairs outside on their mezzanine. We had a great seat that looked over the Downtown Disney District. Naples is a yummy restaurant that serves wood-fired Pizza, Pasta, Salads and other traditional Italian food. It's a casual and family-friendly spot. I gained a lifetime of memories with my sweet girl today! After dinner, we walked back to our Hotel to try to get some sleep before our BIG Race. 

Disneyland Day 1

We had the best first day exploring Disneyland and California Adventure. We went on a bunch of rides. We also took a ton of photos. I have to say my NEW favorite area is Route 66 in California Adventure. It totally looks like your in the Arizona Mountains and on the set of Cars. Amazing! I love the set design as well as the styling on this Disney section. We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel this time because it's super close to the start and finish spots of the race. We usually stay at The Grand California. I'm partial to the Grand because that is were all our children's memories are from. When did these babies of mine grow up?
