The Saguaro Hotel

This last weekend I was in Arizona. I stayed at The Saguaro in Scottsdale. I just adored this adorability cute Hotel. It was full of life and very colorful! In the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, where the Arts District and The City Center Mall meets. The Saguaro welcomes you with an excited pool vibe and where Iron Chef Winner Jose Garces works. 

In the Distrito Federal, is where you can get these interpretation of Mexico City's "street food" shareable plates. Every meal I ate was so flavorful and presentation was spot on! Their guacamole is out of this world! I think I ate Guacamole everyday... I will defiantly be going back with the family next time. Great location if you're in Scottsdale. Thank you, The Saguaro for the fabulous experience!

This last weekend while I was in Arizona, I went to Sprinkles Cupcakes in Scottsdale. I was so excited! This store also has a ATM outside... Eeeeeeek! I couldn't decide which Cupcake to get so I got two (2). The Red Velvet & The Lemon Meringue- Red Velvet is their top seller this Southern Style (light Chocolate) cake is so moist and to top it off it has a yummy cream cheese frosting. Defiantly one of the BEST Red Velvets I've ever had! Then my second Cupcake was one of their seasonal, Lemon Meringue. This is a Lemon Cake with a Meringue inside, topped off with a Toasted Marshmallow Frosting... Can I just say NomNom!! I'm so glad I tried it however, my kids aren't so happy I went without them (oops!) I guess we'll have to go back soon!

The other day, I spent the day at Sephora. I love tootling around that store. I love sampling new perfumes and testing makeup (on my hand of course) I can't tell you how much I love these new lipsticks... Too Faced Melted - Well, so much I couldn't decide on which color to buy. They have so many colors to choose from. They are long lasting lipsticks, with a sponge like applicator. I wasn't so sure about the applicator? But I really like it. These are my favorite four... I was so excited to show Ellie my NEW Lipsticks and she stole one... (Melted Chihuahua) Hmmmmm- Maybe I shouldn't show-n tell? :) Next time you are at Sephora, check them out! TGIF... Hope y'all have wonderful weekend... Hugs!

Tessa founder/owner of the Sweet Bake Shop nestled in Vancouver BC is the most amazing baker I know. I can't help but scream from the rooftops about how amazing her talents are! Almost one year ago to the day, she opened her first store front shop. I'm happy to announce she has out grown her store and her business has spiraled and grown beyond her wildest dreams. With much sadness, Tessa will be closing her store front! When one door closes, another opens... She will be hitting the international market, taking her brand overseas and around the world. Hosting a series or baking workshops and pop-up stores. Tessa will be working with brands to develop product lines and finally writing a Book! I'm so proud of you Tessa... I wish you all the best in your NEW adventure!

Ok- I'm about to give you the BEST recipe ever! Pineapple cookies... I know, sounds kinda crazy. These are so delicious you'd better double your batch! My Mom made these for me when I was a child and now my kids enjoy gobbling them up! P.S. I under cook mine, maybe 10 minutes cook time, light golden brown on the top! Enjoy... #NomNom

I am so excited to say I met Caitlin this last January at Alt Summit. She was a speaker at the conference I attended. Ok- so I love my Pajamas! New PJ's make me so happy. I bought the Pink pair for Ellie for Christmas! I know that seems so far away but with this Girl I've got to plan ahead. Ssssshh! Don't tell her! All the rest I bought myself... Heehee! However, the Pineapple ones ended up NOT being on Sale. Super cute anyway. Ya- I can't wait to wear them...

Today, was yet another game day. Evan has a double header in Hillsboro. I'm taking a car FULL of players. It's super hard for parents to get their players across town in the traffic, right smack in the middle of the work day. I'm obsessed Mint Green & with these strappy wedges. I bought them some time ago by haven't worn them until today. I found them at Charming Charlies. I've linked where I've found all the rest of my outfit! Hope you all had a wonderful Wednesday? Kyras Bake Shop

This last weekend, Evan had a Baseball tournament across town in Lake Oswego. I love this sweet small town. They have a great Saturday Market, as well as cute shops. But, I have to say my favorite store in this town is this adorable Bakery called Kyra's Bake Shop. Kyra's Bake Shop is a three-time winner for Food Network's Cupcakes Wars. Since Jason was out of town at a Golf Tournament I was Evan's ride to and from every game. :) He had to be at the field an hour early each game. This gave me a chance to tootle around town. I knew I needed to try this Bakery- (blogger friends recommended) The Red Velvet was screaming my name. It DID NOT disappoint!! Delicious... Almost as sweet as my yummy cupcake was the surprise of my nieces coming into town. They came and watched Evan play Baseball and really helped cheering him on. Evan's team WON the whole Tournament! Yeah... We had a sweet weekend all a round!
